Pre/Post Measure Reports
A pre- and post-test measure, determined by a checklist of skills, is a tool used to assess a child's progress throughout a program. Parents complete the checklist before the program begins (pretest) and again after it ends (post-test), rating their child's abilities on a scale of competent, requires assistance, not competent, or not applicable. This scale provides a clear picture of the child’s initial skill levels and how those skills have developed throughout the program. The comparison of pre- and post-test results helps assess progress and whether the child has successfully generalised the learned skills to everyday settings, ensuring that they can apply them in real-world contexts beyond the structured program. Inspire Allied Health and Education Group provides a brief report, outlining the skills developed in the program and the compassion of carer rated checklists.
